To All Users of Web for Faculty and Blackboard
|
|
Following recent system upgrades, enhanced password security has been introduced in Web for Faculty & Blackboard.
|
|
Recent security audits have also recommended moving from a 6 digit PIN/password to a minimum 8 character password containing both numbers and letters.
|
|
The new Banner password format requires that your Web for Faculty/Blackboard PIN be a minimum of 8 characters in length, and include both numbers and letters. This new setting will be activated from this Friday 30/07/2010.
|
|
. The next time you login to web for faculty you will be asked to change your password to a new password of 8 Characters in length.
|
|
Please change your PIN now by clicking here
|
|
Your new WFF PIN will then be copied to your Blackboard account within 15 minutes, so as before you may use the same PIN to access the two systems. This new security
|
|

Password Change
|

Dear CIT Staff and Students,
|
|
Please change your login password over the next few days or weeks.
|
|
Changing you password before the summer holidays means that when you return in September, your account will not be disabled.
|
|
Every account needs to have its password changed every 90 days. The most common IT Support call each September is for disabled accounts.
|
|
Simply changing you password now will avoid this problem, detailed information on changing your password is available here |
